Thailand X Bangkok Comic Con 2018 Day 2

Alright let us begin with what would be day two but the final day of the event!! So since I was Mizuno his outfit was pretty comfy to be worn casually and because of the sudden rainy weather the atmosphere was sorta chilly so I figured today would be a cozy day! I met up with a good friend of mines and a fresh senior graduate from my school whom I'll call JaeHee because why not :P But srs tho she is a Mystic Messenger fan so it fits perfectly in this situation. So yeah, it was her first time at con I think? She was quite nervous but i assured her that she'll be fine since coincidentally her outfit reminded me of Waldo with the iconic red striped blouse and her glasses! So I had the honor of showing her just what wild adventures I go through every now and then each year! I also had to buy tickets for another friend of mines first so we did that and then proceeded to the restrooms where I would quickly whip on my Mizuno wig on. Had a lil trouble here and there but managed to get it right finally!

As soon as I got out I saw a really cute Lolita and she was all My Melody themed like her outfit was pink, she had My Melody earrings, a My Melody on her beret and just!!! I did not hesitate to ask her for a photo at all. So JaeHee and me scurried over to the entrance and we were in. I immediately guided her to the land of pins and she found herself lost in them for a good amount of time. Then I noticed that the guest cosplayer merchandise stand had cosplay guests Astarohime and Calssara taking over! I had a little gift for Astarohime so I hurried in and bought some merchandise to get signed by her. When it was finally my turn I clearly remembered her reaction to my cosplay. She squealed and we embraced as she said that Mizuno was absolutely her favorite from the anime and that made me so happy?? Like you have no idea how much that means to me! I didn’t get to give her my gift yesterday but I’m glad I was able to give it to her today!! I gave her some Dia pins because her Dia cosplay was just so amazing you should check it out! ! And then when she asked me who my fav HNK character was I said Dia but then looked at the poster I bought and it was Yurio so I thought: “Ahhhh you should have at least bought Diaaaa” But I didn’t actually see the prints at first T T She then said “oh would you like one? I can gift it to you!” I can’t explain how speechless and happy I was inside I didn’t hesitate at all! We took photos and chatted for a bit about how much she is enjoying Thailand with the food and other things, Tomyum will always be a favorite!! Anyways I’m so glad I met you Astarohime!! Thank you for agreeing to come and I hope to see you again!! You absolutely made my day right from the beginning <33

As she signed my posters I managed to talk to Calssara whom it was my first time meeting her at the event. She said that cosplaying was more of her hobby but she would have to fly back to Germany soon for work. After that start struck moment I then took photos and I said my goodbyes and went over to see how JaeHee was doing with her pins. Boy she was crayy for them!! I then bumped into a familiar face, it was Bibi from the Funtom Tea Party last month!! She told me that Yuegene, a well known Thai cosplayer that I never had the chance to meet was having her signings soon and that I should grab a chance to meet her for the meet and greet as well. And so I hurried to the merch stall and bought one poster

of hers which was her Osumatsu and the special ticket for the meet and greet. Then it was time to line up for Eugene and Leon Chiro and damn they both equally had a lot of fans flooding in! When I finally reached to Yuegene I greeted her and since she was able to speak in English I just decided to go with that instead. I asked for a selfie but the staff said a hug would be better and I should save it during the meet and greet for a better chance. Yuegene commented on my Mizuno and I was just flustered all over again. I was excited to meet her later again!

Then I proceeded to meet up with another friend and I showed him around the event and encouraged him to get photos even if he was shy haha. I took a photo with the Bananas in Pajamas crew too!! Then later we sat together for the guest cosplayer talk and I was so inspired by all them when asked what their biggest inspiration was and how we can strive towards our goals. Leon said that we should enjoy what we do and be happy with what we have. Calssara said that when making your costumes, be sure to set an appropriate deadline but at the end of the day you should tell yourself that you did the best you can even if things go wrong. Astarohime said happily that we should be cosplaying characters that we see ourselves in and relate to but that we should be free to cosplay whoever we wish to be! And lastly, Yuegene had everyone in awe by saying that we are her biggest inspiration and we all should continue to work towards our dreams. After the talk I proceeded to line up for the final meet and greet session with Yuegene. I took a few shots with her and gave her a Todoroki pin for she was cosplaying as the man himself in his knight attire! I hugged her and then proceeded to leave.

My precious child Roxy who came as Toga merely reached the event just as I was about to leave after my friends left. I felt bad so I then decided to enter the event one last time with her. We talked and took photos and met more people inside the hall. She also gave me this cute compact mirror with My Melody in it aaah!! After a few hours we said our goodbyes and then I left. I can say that TCC X BCC was absolutely amazing with the best people out there!! Thank you everyone for making the event amazing!!
