Moonlight Gala: Prom 2018

Hold up right there because I might just be hung over af right now. Nah jk jk April Fooled ya I didn’t get drunk last night. Actually I think I’m too old for this so let’s just get straight into what went down after the Black Butler event. Now you all know from my previous post that I attends my first ever tea party with a Black Butler themed to it while wearing Lolita fashion for the first time. Then right after all the amazing services I had to attend prom later that same day in the evening oof. But I did what I could and made it to two events so hey I might just be unstoppable haha. So the theme for our prom was decided as "Moonlight Gala" which was very fitting because on that very night a bright full moon illuminated in the night sky so what a coincidence right?

Alright so continuing where I left off last time, after arriving home from the tea party I took a quick shower and packed up for I was going to be crashing at my bestie the queen herself Luna’s place for the night. I wasn’t sure what to do with my hair so I visited my local salon and they made me a cool ass style where I was able to rock the undercut and side shave I had recently got. I could lowkey do a Sombra cosplay with this hair if I tried to lol. So after that there was shit ton of traffic I tell you, but I managed to get my base makeup done because yeah that’s literally how long I had to wait before the card started moving again oof.

So I made it to my pal Luna’s house and I got ready there. We then hurried over to the hotel that the prom was being held at. We had a little trouble finding the ballroom even while following the signs but the hotel was pretty much too huge. As we made our way I saw the beautiful gowns and smart suits my juniors and seniors were wearing. I met up with my MC partner and we broke down what the program will be like. I was kind of nervous yet pumped up because it was my first time being an MC for the school.

As we invited the teachers, guests, and the other fellow alumni who wish to join the prom in, we then proceeded with the opening talk. Oof I was nervous I did stutter and blemph some parts but it was understandable. After some opening speeches and a prayer, dinner was served! The hotel chef and kitchen whipped us a great and mouth watering grand buffet but I didn’t have much time to chow down as an MC so I ate to the point I was able to actually count so that’s how less it was. All I remember was roasted chicken, spicy soup and rice, and two small slices of cheesecake and a breadstick that Rin shoved in my mouth at some point lmao.

The program continued and then we announced the King, Queen, Prince, and Princesses of Prom for the night. The Prom King ran away with the prize cash and ditched his sash so I took it instead haha. The night was still young and I was already tired. Me and my pals weren’t attending the after prom so we went to Luna’s place instead. A little Mc Donald’s float for me and Rin and that’s all we wanted. We smacked a few at Luna’s and then proceeded to have our baths and die. And that pretty much is what happened lmao, so we went home the following day and yep that was prom y’all. Looking forward to my last year next year and defineut coming to see my juniors of the next generation as well!
