Woah! It seems like I’m attending event after event aren’t I. Well, I can’t help it! Today was my first time attending the X-Toy event near my area! It was being held at a popular mall called EmQuartier at its waterfall garden area! X-Toy is known for their cosplay competitions which I of course would like to join someday but because it was so last minute I didn’t sign up but at the same time I wanted to see how it was. I asked my boi Gun if she wanted to accompany and hell yeah she agreed.

I wasn’t sure what to cosplay so I thought why not my sweetie Yama Usagi from Onmyoji then? She’s really easy and super comfy too! I know I’ve said it a million times that I wanted to cosplay as an Omyoji character so might as well do it now or never. Gun came as Pinocchio from SinoAlice, and I recalled praying she arrived soon because so many people were thinking that I play the game but honestly I just really like Yama Usagi alright ><

And I am aware that some people start beef about how people shouldn’t cosplay this or that character unless they watch the anime/ play the game/ read the manga etc. Honestly that doesn’t matter?? I know that knowing the anime or game makes the entire cosplay kinda come together but you don’t have to necessarily have to have a PhD in it or smth oof. But Gun here told me that in reality she doesn’t even play SinoAlice so yah we’re even! Before she arrived I was asked to have my photos taken and I was happy to! A random guy in a unicorn onesie came and interviewed me and I of course agreed :D I met two cute girls who asked for my photos and I gave them my coscards to keep. I bought some Mystic Messenger pins for my BL obsessed sista whom I shall call her JaeHee because reasons :3

Finally Gun arrived and we took some derp double chin photos and randomness. She exposed me to her obsession: collecting cute vanguards but not actually playing them >>>UH ME WITH RANDOM CUTE SHIT THAT HAVE NO CONTEXT?? We got free drinks and snacks near the stage where the cosplay competition was going on and I saw my idol Onnies there too! After a while me and Gun browsed at some of the merch there and she met a friend whom I supposed she’s known for a while now. She told me that she’ll go have a drink or two with him and then will be back. Of course I don’t mind and I wouldn’t interrupt their time together so I agreed. Then like a miracle the same Houseki No Kuni Squad appeared! I hung out with them till the end where we went to see the results of the cosplay competition. Seems like they knew someone who was competing so we all went to give our support!

In the end they invited us non competitors for a group photo and that was pretty much it! I liked the location because it was an open place with the skyline being able to be seen and the nature around. I was so happy to just chill on a Sunday once again and with amazing people. I ended up having a super late late dinner with them to the point I know my dad worried like hell, but I feel like with each time I go, I get to know these people better <3
