I woke up realizing I wasn't in my own bed. The slight claustrophobia rushed through my body as I realized I was sleeping on the top bunk. It wasn't a dream, I was actually in an APU dorm. Below me was my roomate Nakla who was sound asleep. Breakfast was soon so I woke her up and we got ready. We greeted the other girls good morning at the bathroom and washed up and got ready. Today was supposed to be the campus tour and some shopping downtown later on. After breakfast we headed to the conference room where we had some ice breaking activities to get to know everyone better. I realized there was a girl who seemed to know me or could relate to me somehow. She was Nepalese and her name was Nawa. Then it clicked to me that a few months back she tried to add me on FB but I declined her request thinking she was some random person since she didn't reach out to me via FB messenger or introduced herself at that time. She didn't have any mutual friends on her list so there was that too. But somehow we all seemed to know each other more and more and realized there was much more to explore. Later I even met a BL crazed loving girl, Shirlene whom all it took was one question that made us soulmates: "Are you a fujoshi?" Boom. We clicked instantly.

The campus tour then proceeded right after lunch and we were all excited to see what APU had in store for us. We first went to the study rooms where students can study in groups or alone. Laptops are available for borrowing and lots of newspapers, books, from around the word were available too. An odd thing here is that during earthquakes instead of proceeding to evacuate outside the building, you are to remain inside. Why? It is said that by close inspection, all of APU's buildings were built specifically feet away from each other so that they don't collaspe on each other. Another interesting thing is that they said they got the entire land for free because it was supposedly an area for world war 2? facility likewise this place was awesome and I could see why a lot of students choose this place. After the campus tour ended shortly due to the immense heat, we headed for the famous Youme Town! We were split into groups with one TA in charge which was Emika! My group had Amalia and Dafa from the Indonesian squad, Bella from Taiwan, Susannah from Korea, and Minh from Vietnam! The place itself was really cool and the girls and I immediately hunted for makeup. "Canmake Canmake Canmake"was all in my mind and I found it! I finally was able to purchase their popular Marshmallow Finish Powder which one of my favorites cosplayer MatchaMei did a review on it. After shopping a while my group went to get some dinner which I ordered curry!!

I went to a local book store where the newest issue of NYLON JP that features BLACKPINK was finally on sale! Along with that I bought SEVENTEEN JP as well and this month's gift was a cute bubblegum pink purse from BUBBLES TOKYO! After Youme Town we headed back to APU and that clears day 2! Tomorrow we are going to meet our roommates which I was 6 more new roommates to meet which are all the Japanese summer school students coming here to learn English! I really can't wait to meet them all and hope the language barrier doesn't increase haha.
