Japan Diaries: The Adventure Begins!

I can't believe it's finally the day, where I, ZenZen, standing 5'0 a smol 16 year old bean, traveling alone for the first time to Japan. I was excited since the day I was accepted to join the ACE Summer Camp hosted by APU (Asia Pacific University) Ristumeikan. I told myself I've got this a million times at home and even double checked my luggage like crazy because if I forgot anything I would certainly kms. So I didn't really have to do much for packing since I was dead sure I'm going to be bringing the entire Japan with me back. My dad lectured me the entire day about how I should be cautious and shouldn't engage in conversations with any stranger no matter how nice or good looking they can be. I mean heck, I knew all these things but he didn't have to repeat it again and again it just makes me more rebellious haha. But no really I did keep those in mind. I understand since it was just me alone traveling and as a female I should be cautious. My airport fashion was simply black. To top it all, I had that signature Ulzzang black K-Pop mask going on that I probably looked suspicious af. My dad, uncle and childhood friends came to send me to the airport and all was good. We snapped photos and soon checked in my luggage. Even went to Family Mart for some late night snacks for I skipped dinner. Then it was finally time to leave. I said my goodbyes and was confident that I could do this. As soon as I went up to get security checked, and immigration, I was done! That was fairly quick. I was Instagram live streaming with my viewers who really were nice and keeping me calm as I frantically tried to find the gate. I talked until my boarding time finally arrived. Thai Airways never seems to let me down. The place did change a bit I could tell. My seatmate was a business man from Ghana and we immediately became friends. Yikes sorry dad for the "don't talk to strangers" warning but I couldn't help but be friendly! We were given midnight snacks since my boarding time was literally 12:50AM... But so far enough I did it! Now for the next 6 hours of possibly sleep I hope... Goonight from me <3
