ReUnited at Last!

It's been almost 4 long years since I met two good friends!! Tammy and Winnie invited me and my friend Nina for a meet up and of course we agreed because who doesn't want to see good friends again! Tammy studies abroad in New Zealand now and Winnie transferred to another school. I've been in the same class with Tammy since 1st grade and attended math tutoring classes with Winnie in 5th grade. These two left shortly after middle school around 7th grade and now we're in 11th grade so yes it's been that long! Tammy's little sister also tagged along and she grew up so fast! We first met up for long at a ramen restaurant and ordered our food and did some chit chatting on how we've been and how our schools differed from back then. I'm surprised that non of them changed one bit, but it felt like the good old days and made me nostalgic.

After lunch we decided to go for dessert! "After You" is a famous dessert cafe in Thailand so we agreed to go there. We ordered two dishes which were the cafe's signature dish, the Shibuya Toast, and a Two-Tone shaved ice. The line wasn't very long, we eventually got a table later on. The desserts were really delicious, although messy with the syrups and all, overall it was too good to be true. We enjoyed and took photos and laughed together. We bonded pretty well an nothing felt awkward despite not seeing one another after 4 long years!! And we also visited the newly opened "LINE VILLAGE" which sold all the merchandise and characters of the popular messaging app, "LINE". A lot of people queued outside to take photos with the popular LINE character, Brown the bear.

We took a group shot together and even helped two tourist by king their photo in return for them taking our photo as we asked them to. The merchandise were really adorable from dolls, to stickers, to stationary! I bought some cute postcards and took photos inside. After we were done, we then said our goodbyes and promised to meet again. Tammy gifted me a seal plushy and I felt bad knowing I did not bring anything for her but she assured me that us just meeting like this is enough to make her happy. She's still kind as ever...I hope we meet again someday <33
