SHOW DC: A Kpop Inspired Mall

Happy Fourth of July to everyone!! Today I visited a special pop up exhibition held at the newly opened Kpop lifestyle mall "SHOW DC" here in Bangkok with a friend! The exhibition is in honor of the upcoming G-Dragon concert coming this July 8-9! However I am not really in a concert mood this year and rather preferred to go to a BIGBANG concert where all 5 members perform together so I'm letting this pass this year. We left our messages at a special board tat fans were allowed to wish or ask GD anything, something that we Thai fans enjoy doing. Free stickers were given if you uploaded your photo with the exhibition onto any SNS, and that's what we did.

Later on we went up to the rooftop where the infamous YG Entertainment one of the top Kpop music industries had opened their restaurants otherwise known here as the YG Republique! A special cafe for BIGBANG opened and everything was all themed with BIGBANG's music playing in the atmosphere to have the feeling that our oppas were really there with us! We ordered a Chocolate Bingsu and though it was messy to eat, it was still so so good! I sang to almost every son that played in the cafe which just shows how much of a BIGBANG craze I was for so many years.

So far SHOW DC is still newly opened with many food restaurants and cafes and stores and many tourists come here everyday, But hopefully sooner in the later future more and more people will fill this amazing mall. If you love Kpop and want to meet your oppas and unnies, SHOW DC is the place to come!
