Hello again! Today after many years of hesitation I finally challenged myself to try rock climbing. Since I am not attending any summer school or extra curricular activities my goal this summer was to try new things. Rock climbing, never once thought of it. But hey, you never know if you don't try right? Honestly, seeing excellent rock climbers just hitting the mountains like professionals always made me want to try it.
Not gonna lie, it was HARDER than I thought... I had to rely mostly on my legs while my hands were supposed to grip on freely as instructed by my trainer. I often had to feel around for the right spot just so that I could get a better grip and be hoisted up by the gear that's being controlled by my trainer. I was also given special chalk so that the texture allows me to hold on better because my hands were already sweating by how much panic I had when I was up there.
I went for about maybe roughly three rounds? And I was just so DEAD. It indeed was a great experience that tested my physical and mental well being and I am sure enough to return again!
